Rainy Day Fun in February

The rain did not stop prek from outdoor adventures!

An investigation at the retention pond let to the discovery of litter, icy cold water, and mini icebergs.

Shaving cream and paint are also very easy clean up on rainy days!

Thursday 10/12 Fun

Thursday fun included:
1. sign language group in the morning
2. creative brick house building for the 3 little pigs in prek
3. time to paint after school

Comedy & Juggling Show

Bright Ideas families had a good laugh Wednesday night.  Miller & Mike put on a great show.  Thanks for joining us!

Hiking at Lapham Peak

The afternoon was spent at Lapham Peak hiking.  Junior Teacher Olivia led a fun game in the woods and we were careful not to let any deer into the butterfly garden.  Some popsicles afterwards made it a great day!

Nature Week

Frog catching at Retzer with Sunset workshop block last week.

Created temporary insect habitats and gave each bug a backstory. Super creative!

Retzer Trip 7/10

Quiet moment at Retzer to listen for and spot flying things.  Kids noticed dragon flies, airplanes, flies, bees, other insects, and birds. 

Then it was time for frog catching!  Clare caught the first one and got good and muddy.  

Pool Noodle Hockey

 Pool noodle beach ball hockey and grocery shopping for a healthy snack all on the same day.  Raising strong and fit kids in Wales today!
